Fitting annual apiary duties with the rest of your life can be tricky. NC State Apiary Inspector Nancy Ruppert has given us a helpful list of what can be expected throughout the year for beekeepers in the Piedmont. Those outside of central North Carolina will need to adjust for local conditions.

The objective of the course is to create an interest in beekeeping and provide information needed for a person to become a keeper of honey bees, a beekeeper. No prior experience is required to take the course. It’s best to register for the course by January 13, so we have time to email you the appropriate links and collect any additional information.
