Beekeeping throughout the year is a variable process. Fitting annual apiary duties with the rest of your life can be tricky. NC State Apiary Inspector Nancy Ruppert has given us a helpful list of what can be expected throughout the year for beekeepers in the Piedmont. Beginning Beekeeper Course for 7 weeks of training and optional field day and optional 8th week for NCSBA Certification Written Exam.
History of Beekeeping; Biology; Pest Management; Disease Management; and Seasonal Management.
Optional field day will be held during a Saturday with acceptable weather. Will examine JCBA beehives.
