The Born & Bred Program will be offering two Grafting Workshops at the Summer Conference at Blue Ridge Community College, Flat Rock, NC.
These workshops are part of advanced beekeeping training and will provide an overview of grafting larvae into cell cups for the purpose of queen rearing.
A presentation on the technique of grafting will be provided and a hands-on portion will follow. Target audience for this workshop are individuals who wish to gain a better understanding of grafting for the purpose of queen rearing and/or those who need additional help improving their grafting techniques.
Admittance to the workshop is based on pre-registration only. Register through the NCSBA website and the link below.
Seats for the workshop are available on a first come, first serve basis. This workshop will be filled / sold-out prior to the start of the conference.
The workshops are on Friday, July 20th at 1pm and 2:30 pm. The cost is $10.00 and will be used to pay for frames of larvae used for grafting.
