Annual Meetings of the NCSBA

The NCSBA holds statewide conventions twice a year, in the Spring and Summer. In odd-numbered years, the Spring Meeting is held jointly with the South Carolina Beekeepers Association, alternating locale between states.

Special Events

Cooking With Honey Contest -- Bring your entries to the Culinary Kitchen between 9:00-10:00 AM Friday. An entry form will be provided. Prepare your entries according to the Cooking With Honey Guidelines. Winners awarded at Friday night banquet. Entries served at Saturday morning break, so cook a bunch of extras!
Honey Competition -- Prepare honey and related entries according to the Honey Competition Guidelines. Winners awarded at banquet.
Silent Auction -- You never know what kind of deals you will find on the Silent Auction tables! All proceeds go to the Apiculture Science Fund to sponsor honey bee research at NCSU. Bring your tax deductible donations of beekeeping equipment and honey bee related books, art, novelties, etc. to be auctioned for a good cause.
